At 8:29 AM on Friday, November 30, 2018, Anchorage was hit by a 7.2M earthquake. It felt like it would never stop. I watched my monitors tip over, photos go flying and could see the cars in the driveway ride a wave like surfboards.
We are OK. The family is safe, the house is fine, the stuff has all been picked up and put away. I’m back to work. With the exception of multiple aftershocks every day, life is back to normal. Pretty soon we might even get to sleep through the night.
I want to thank so many of you for checking in on me. You reached out by phone, email and social media. I felt very supported.
